Betty Boop's little corner of the web.
This is the third page of composited pictures of Betty Boop. The following were created Sunday Sept. 9th. The "moon landing" image into which Betty is inserted is in the Cultural Blender images folder, and is an example of  one the "icons" I am gathering from around the web for inclusion in the Cultural Blender.
Betty's Valentine is clip art and a figurine. On Sept. 23 added "Betty Riders", which shall soon be the feature imageon a new page.
Here Betty lands on the moon. In this rare and heretofore unseen photo, Betty utters those famous words, "One small step out of the inkwell in the twenties and look where it's brought me."

Bettys the world over joined the Betty Run. Here are some of the Bettys relaxing at the end of the run.
Here is Betty as Josephine Baker in "Tutti Frutti" from a graphic painting by Olivia. I hope this makes up for the above graphic, which I swore I wasn't going to feature, but felt a misguided need to, especially after having seen Spike Lee's treatment of " The Kings of Comedy.." Oh Well, rambling as usual.
"JOSEPHINE" by MFN created 1/31-2/2/02
As I created the above colorized image from one of the cartoons, I fully realized I was putting a rather jingoistic image of cannibals tying Betty (the pure, white heroine) to the stake, in preparation to "eat" her. But I do not apologize for my prejudicial innocence, nosiree. The little guy is cute, and Betty and Bimbo respect their captors.
